Session ID Links

A major problem with Search Engines is that they do not use Cookies. Because of this, when Search Engines visit a dynamic Website, Session information is often stored as an encrypted variable within the URL. An example of this is:

http://www.myurl.com/mypage.php?PHPSESSID=2kd9xls9apqla2l290as000&type=search

Every time a Robot visits this Webpage it will have a unique Session Id. For Search Engines, this will look like a different URL (Webpage) which will cause both duplicate content data issues and crawling issues. Because each time the Session Id is different, Search Engines will not crawl these Webpages very often due to an infinite loop problem. SEOENG™ detects these Session Ids and warns the customer about them. For each Link, the customer can see if it had a Session Id when SEOENGBot™ visited it. In addition, information about Session Ids can be seen on both the Webpage and Website levels.
