SEOENG® Learning Center...Relevant Link Detection™Search Engines are constantly trying to detect how relevant a Link is. An example of a relevant Link is a Link which is placed on a Webpage about clowns, and is pointed to a Webpage about a circus. An example of an irrelevant Link is a Link which is placed on a Webpage about gambling, and is pointed to a Webpage about healthcare. The purpose of this is twofold. First, Links which are not relevant are considered potentially “Paid Links” (which is part of SEOENG®’s “Purchased Paid” Link Detection™), and second, all votes are not created equal. As mentioned in the definition of Link Flow®, a Link is an attempt to tell a Search Engine there is a “trusted” source of information. That trust, however, is sometimes misused. Just as a regular human being would not trust a lawyer to tell them about how to do open heart surgery, a Search Engine should do the same. Search Engines ARE doing just this and SEOENG® provides its own interpretation and implementation of this algorithm. |
